A mother of two was left with a house with serious structural issues and disrepair — windows and doors that had water damage as well as the entire gutter system. The woman has found a job; but h it does not offer the income necessary to afford these repairs. She went to her church for help, and they posted her need on the FISH network. The amount needed for construction project was approximately $1000.
Within 2 days, FISH partners had donated the labor and $760 for the supplies. Over 40 people volunteered to help and the woman and her children were relieved!
