A father of school-aged kids has been out of work for 6 months due to health issues. Still working to pay off bills from previous health care, he went to the school counselor and explained that he is struggling to catch up on utility and other bills. As a result, his kids had no computer at home on which to complete their homework. The counselor, a FISH partner, posted their need of a computer in good condition for the children to use for their school work.
A FISH partner was able to provide this family with two refurbished laptop computers.
